The mural project is a big collaborative artwork of students at Kolter Elementary School. The students are currently working on their individual pieces, which will become the puzzle pieces of the big mural. At this early stage the big picture is not clear to the students. The picture above is a schematic diagram of the way we currently envision the mural. The wall will be viewed from a distance as children standing holding hands lined up in a growth curve. However, when people approach the mural they will be able to see that it is composed of smaller individual artwork of student.
